DDC Budgam conducts public darbar at SDH Chadoora

Budgam: The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Budgam, Shahbaz Ahmed Mirza Wednesday conducted a public darbar at Sub District Headquarters (SDH) Chadoora under Block Diwas initiative.
Speaking on the occasion, the DDC assured that Public outreach programs have been initiated to have an on spot appraisal of the various issues/ demands that the people of the concerned areas are facing.
The DDC gave a patient hearing to the public issues and ordered for redressal of many issues on the spot. He directed concerned officers to note the issues and demands put forth and address them on war footing keeping prevailing circumstances in view, as the public in general during this harsh winter generally face a lot of inconveniences.
The DDC on the occasion was accompanied by SDM Chadoora, SDPO Chadoora, CEO Budgam, CMO Budgam, Ex. Engineers of PHE, R&B, PDD, PMGSY, Tehsildar Chadoora and BK Pora besides other concerned.
Later the DDC visited several areas of Sub district Chadoora including the far flung area of Suresyar where he personally monitored the snow clearance operations and directed the concerned agencies to put all efforts together in making this remote area communicable.
At Suresyar a large gathering of public assembled and put forth their grievances and other issues before the visiting authority, the DDC assured them that all genuine demands will be redressed at an earliest.
During the visit, the DDC also inspected Primary Health Centre Suresyar and took detailed stock of health facilities available there.
The DDC was apprised that almost all areas of SD Chadoora have been made communicable, in addition about 90 percent of electricity have been restored, however due to extreme cold and frost, some areas are facing water scarcity and efforts are on to restore water supply to these areas on war footing basis.
