G’bal : The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ganderbal, Shafqat Iqbal Saturday chaired a meeting of district officers and officials of executing agencies to review the progress on various developmental projects in execution within the district.
On the occasion, the DC sought a detailed account of various developmental works in progress under different sectors from the concerned officers who briefed him about the physical and financial progress of various projects.
The meeting also discussed progress under the District Capex Budget. The Chief Planning Officer briefed the meeting about the department wise physical and financial achievements of Capex budget for the current financial year.
The DC also reviewed the status of various languishing ongoing projects and works approved in the Back to Village programme. He impressed upon the officers to speed up the pace of work on these projects so that they are completed within the stipulated time frame.
He also stressed for regular monitoring of works and directed the district heads to meet the targets and set timelines for the completion of vital projects in the district.
The meeting was attended by Chief Planning Officer, Ganderbal, SE R&B, Executive Engineers of PHE, R&B, and JKPCC, CMO Ganderbal, CEO Ganderbal and other concerned.
