Srinagar: The Kashmir Power Development Department Friday claimed to have restored all receiving stations across Kashmir valley except one in Konibal area of Pampore after heavy snowfall in the valley.
Chief Engineer PDD distribution Kashmir, Ajaz Ahmad when contacted said that all receiving stations have been restored across Kashmir except one in Konibal area of Pampore.
He said that out of 951 KV transmission lines in the Valley we have fully restored 923 lines and remaining lines will be restored as well.
Meanwhile, the people hailed the efforts of the ground staff of PDD, who worked tirelessly to restore power supply across Kashmir after heavy snowfall in the region.
“Our men are at job for restoration of electricity in Kashmir, 98 per cent of electricity has been restored in North and Central Kashmir, 95 in South Kashmir and in next few days we will make it better,” he added.
