Poonch: The Department of Health and Family welfare Poonch under the overall supervision of the Deputy Commissioner Poonch,Rahul Yadav on Friday conducted a Second dry run at different health institutions for the COVID-19 Vaccination in district poonch.
The dry run was performed at three health institutions including PHC Chandimarh, District Hospital Poonch and CHC surankote.
Chief Medical Officer said the objective of the dry run for Covid-19 Vaccine introduction is to assess operational feasibility in the use of Covid Vaccine Intelligence Network ( Co- WIN) application in field environment, to test the linkages between planning and implementation and to identify the challenges and guide way forward prior to actual implemetation during this inclement weather conditions.
The CMO along with the entire team visited at PHC Chandimarh and observed the preparedness for launching COVID-19 vaccination.
Chief Medical Officer directed the concerned officers to work in a mission mode to ensure the successful conduct of the mock drive of the COVID19 vaccination to avoid any inconvenience at the time when vaccination drive actually starts in the district.
On the ocassion, SDM Surankote, CMO Poonch Dr. G.A Malik, MS, Dr. Mushtaq Shah, DPM Nikhat Khawaja besides other concerned officers/officials were present.
