Srinagar/Jan,8: Jammu and Kashmir Teachers Joint Action Committee (JKTJAC) has once again raised it’s voice for early redressal of all pending issues.
In a statement chairman JKTJAC Gazi Abdul Aziz has once again requested Secretary Education, DSEK and DSEJ to ensure speedy disposal of time bound promotion cases at district level. In order to speed up the process, Gazi Abdul Aziz suggested that more officers need to be deputed to district headquarters to check the pending time bound promotion files. He also appealed authorities that a comprehensive transfer policy should be initiated for teachers of all cadres in school education department. “Authorities in school education department should come up with creation of master grade posts in upper primary schools and promote teacher to masters which is the need of the hour”, he added. He appealed authorities that the issue of pending transition of left out cases of teacher grade 2nd and teacher grade 3rd should be resolved with out any further delay.
He also urged upon authorities for filling up of all vacant posts of headmasters, ZEOs, principals and confirmation of officers. He said, “abolition of incharge system should be ensured”. He further said that framing up of syllabus for pre primary classes should be ensured in order to make enrollment drive a successful move. Gazi Abdul Aziz also appealed authorities to ensure reconstruction of damaged infrastructure due to heavy snowfall.
