Bandipora: District Development Commissioner Bandipora Dr, Owais Ahmad Tuesday provided his own official vehicle to a patient and shifted him to Srinagar Hospital in North kashmir’s Bandipora district.
An official said that Tuesday evening, a 80-year-old man from a remote area of the district suddenly suffered heart stroke following which he was shifted District hospital Bandipora.
He said that due to continuous bad weather and snowfall, normal vehicles were not able to play due to slippery road due to which it was impossible to shift the patient to Srinagar.
The officials said DC Bandipora was informed and he provided his own 4×4 vehicle and shifted the patient to Srinagar Hospital for special treatment.
Meanwhile, another patient from dudwan area of the Suderkoot bala was also shifted srinagar hospital on the same way by district authorities. The locals have appreciated the efforts of the district administration
