Poonch:The students who had gathered outside Government Degree College here chanted slogans “Announce mass promotion, do justice with students”.
The protesting students said “we appeal the authorities to announce mass promotion for 1st, 3rd, 5th, Semester students of Jammu University so that their academic year is not wasted”. The students said that the Jammu University has not conducted any private exam for the last 14-15 months. They have been affected in some way and their precious time is being wasted. The students also said that if the University does not concede their demand, they will hit streets indefinitely.
They appealed Lituenant Governor Manoj Sinha and Vice Chancellor Jammu University to announce mass promotion for all the students of UG classes as a welfare gesture in the overall interest of the students
