Hakeem seeks restoration of traffic , power, water supply in rural Budgam on emergency basis,demands stern action against hoarders and profiteers

Srinagar/Jan,4: Chairman Jammu & Kashmir Peoples Democratic Front (JKPDF) Hakeem Mohammad Yaseen has enjoyed upon the Budgam district administration to expedite snow clearance on roads in rural areas of the district so that traffic movement is restored at the earliest. He said traffic movement, power and water supply in rural areas of the district has been hit badly due to recent snow fall adding that the administration should press into service it’s entire men and machinery to restore the system on emergency basis.
In a statement issued on Monday, Hakeem called for urgent and emergency based measures to clear snow from roads to restore traffic movement in rural areas of district Budgam.He said most of the roads in rural areas of Central district Budgam were still closed due to ongoing snowing thereby causing great inconvenience to the people. He has urged the administration to press into service all the available men and machinery to restore traffic movement in all rural areas. He has also urged for restoration of power and water supply which have been affected by the ongoing snow fall.
Hakeem also urged the administration to make available all the essential commodities in the market and check to black marketing and hoarding of essential commodities in the wake of closure of Srinagar-Jammu National Highway – the only supply line between kashmir and rest of the country . ” For this purpose, market checking teams should be activated on warfooting basic , ” Hakeem maintained adding that stern action should be taken against unscrupulous traders indulging in profiteering and black marketting.
