Srinagar/ Jan 3: Chairman People’s Democratic Front ( PDF) Hakeem Mohammad Yaseen has expressed concern over the mysterious killing of a 65 year old goldsmith, Satpal Nischal, by unidentified gunman in busy Hari Singh High Street market in the heart of Srinagar city on Thursday late evening.
In a statement issued on Sunday, Hakeem while condemning killing of goldsmith Satpal Nischal , said police should conduct a thorough investigation to unravel mystery behind the gruesome murder . He said the slain goldsmith and his family have been living in Kashmir from past 50 years and doing their ornament business without any threatening. Hakeem urged for an end to the incidents of mysterious killings in Kashmir and has called for upholding human rights values at all costs . He said killing of innocents and unarmed persons was a great sin and against the tenants of all religion especially Islam . He said enemies of peace are hellbent to weaken the fabric of communal harmony and brotherhood in kashmir who need to be isolated and defeated with heavy hands.
