DLSA G’bl organizes two separate Legal awareness progs

G’bal: District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Ganderbal Thursday organized two separate legal awareness programs on Maintenance & welfare of parents and senior citizen Act at Anderwan and Gund villages of the district.
The function was presided over by Secretary DLSA Ganderbal Tabassum and was also attended by District Manager Common Service Centre, Panel Lawyers, PLVs and Senior Citizens besides Sarpanchs and panches of the adjoining localities.
Speaking on the occasion, Secretary DLSA and Panel Lawyers educated the Senior Citizens as well as General Public about Maintenance & welfare of parents and senior citizen Act and other schemes available for Senior Citizens in different govt. departments.
District Manager CSC educated the Senior Citizens about Ayushman Bharat SEHAT scheme and nearly 72 senior citizens were registered/ enrolled on spot under the said scheme.
