Jammu: One person was killed while five others received injuries in a road accident at Gurmul area of Jammu’s Doda district on Monday.
Police officials said a vehicle (Ecco) bearing registration JK06A-4913 was on the way to Gurmul from Doda when it plunged into a deep gorge.
One of the passengers identified as Abdul Wahid resident of Thathri died on the spot, they said, adding that five other persons were injured who include Muhammad Yusuf, Naseema Begum and three minor children.
“All the five injured including three minor have been shifted to Doda district hospital for treatment,” they said
