Jammu: The District Fund Office Jammu has asked the GP subscribers and Drawing and Disbursing officers of the district to immediately furnish the documents regarding adjustment of A.G. Transfer Advices already brought to the notice through repeated notices.
“This office has brought into the notice of the G.P. Fund subscribers of District Jammu through Print Media/Newspaper from time to time to furnish the documents regarding adjustment of A.G. Transfer Advices but G.P. Fund subscribers failed to do so till date. It is impressed upon all the concerned DDOs/subscribers to approach the office of the undersigned within 15 days for adjustment of the A.G. Transfer Advices failing which these shall be declared as unclaimed (UNCLAIMED) without giving any further notice/chance,” a handout issued by the concerned stated.
The documents to be submitted are Debit/Credit statement w.e.f 01-04-1982 or 1st deduction whichever is earlier to 31-03-1986 duly authenticated by the DDO concerned as per column (8) of the AG, Transfer Advice pertaining to District Jammu only; Copy of Transfer Advice issued by Accountant General; An Indemnity Bond duly countersigned by the Head of the Department, in case, if the record for said the period has been destroyed/gutted in the fire; An affidavit duly attested by the Notary said T.A. has not been accounted for in the ledger accounts in any other District Fund Office previously.
