Advisor Baseer meets scores of deputations, individuals in Srinagar

Srinagar: Advisor to Lieutenant Governor, Baseer Ahmad Khan, on Monday met scores of public deputations and individuals to listen to their issues and concerns during a public grievances redressal camp.
The delegations and individuals projected several demands and problems before the Advisor seeking an early redressal to the same.
A delegation of Mohalla Committee, Zaina Kadal demanded construction of community hall, parking facility, establishment of fire station and related public utilities.
The Advisor issued on spot directions to the district administration to explore possibilities for incorporation of demands raised by the people in the Srinagar Smart City project.
A deputation from Ganderbal demanded removal of illegal constructions in the district.
In this regard, Advisor sought report from the concerned authorities and expressed dismay over inordinate delay in removing encroachments.
Similarly, deputationists of several contractors brought their concerns in the notice of Advisor for timely release of their pending payments.
Likewise, delegations of retired Police personnel and retired employees of Panchayats also met the Advisor and put forth their demand for removal of pay anomalies and release of pension benefits in their favour.
Another delegation from Seer Jageer, Sopore called on the Advisor and put forth their demands before him. They also expressed gratitude to the Advisor for fulfilling their demands regarding supply of water and power besides construction of play ground.
Besides, delegations of Shahr-i-Khaas Traders Association, Falah Behbood Committee, Usman Abad, Artisans Association, members of Amar Singh Club and large number of individuals from different areas like Baba Nagri Wangat Kangan, Syedpora Eidgah, Baramulla, Nowlahri Pattan and other parts of Kashmir apprised the Advisor of different issues pertaining to their areas and sought their early redressal.
Advisor assured all individuals and delegations that the issues and genuine demands projected by them would be redressed on priority basis. He gave on the spot directions to the concerned for time bound redressal of public issues raised during the camp.
