Poonch: One hundred fifty Golden Cards were distributed among the beneficiaries in Poonch on the launch at the live streaming programme of launch of Ayushman Bharat PMJAY SEHAT Scheme by Prime Minister Narendra Modi through virtual mode.
Deputy Commissioner, Rahul Yadav was the Chief Guest at the programme which was attended by Chairpersons Block Development Council Poonch, District and Session Judge; Senior Superintendent of Police, Additional Deputy Commissioner and other senior officers, besides ASHA workers, Media persons, senior citizens and beneficiaries of the scheme.
At the outset, Chief Medical Officer, Dr G.A Malik welcomed the participants and gave a brief preview about the scheme.
In his address, the DDC gave a detailed account of the scheme and issued necessary instructions to the participants. He sought cooperation of PRIs in the registration process so that no one is left out. One hundred Golden Cards were provided to the beneficiaries were distributed by District and Session Judge, Madan Lal, DDC Rahul Yadav, SSP Ramesh Angral and BDC chairperson.
