Poonch: The festival of Christmas was on Friday celebrated fabulously at St.Ignatius church Poonch as per the Covid-19 protocol. The Church and its premises were engrossed with the decorations, carol singing and in a very special way with Crib which is the representation of the manger where Jesus Christ was born.
The Christmas celebration came to its momentum by the visit of the district administration including Dy Commissioner Rahul Yadav and Ramesh Kumar Angral, SSP Poonch. A prayer Service was officiated in the morning by Rev Fr. George, the Priest In charge in commemoration of the birth of Jesus Christ. During the Prayer Service all the faithfuls offered special prayers for the healing of the world from the Pandemic Covid- 19.
