Bandipora: Former MLA and founding member of the J&K Apni Party Usman Majid Wednesday said that by stopping vote counting of PaK returned candidates midway the central government has proved that PaK is no longer the integral part of India and reclaiming PaK is just a hollow slogan.

Talking Kashmir Horizon in Bandipora Usman Majid asked the Government of India that, is Pak Administered Kashmir(PaK) part of our country? the resolution of which also passed in the parliament, If it is really part of India, how can Government stop vote counting of PaK returned candidates midway, It just proves that PaK is not part of india.
When both of the female candidates have submitted their nomination papers that time their ID cards and other official documents were checked which proved to be correct but I don’t know where these sudden decisions came from and their vote counting was stopped on half way, he said.
He said that India has never sincerely said that PaK is part of india rather, it has always misled the people of India because today they have announced that this is not our part.
“How will the government tell these two candidates during counting that their votes will not be counted because they belong to Pakistan. then why they were allowed to come here and how the government has earlier allowed them to participate in the elections, ” Majid said.
He said that India is trying to bring PaK back and telling people that they will bring it back but then this is a complete lie. Today they must clarify whether PaK is a part of our or not, he said. Notably, the election authority of Jammu and Kashmir Wednesday this week stopped the counting at two constituencies that include Drugmulla in Kupwara district and Hajin A, in Bandipora district while the candidates in these two constituencies are PaK returnees.
