Srinagar: Three Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) men were injured in a grenade attack in Tawheed Chowk Daderhama area of Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Wednesday afternoon.
An official said militants hurled a grenade on 115 bn CRPF in Daderhama, resulting in injuries to three CRPF men who were identified as ASI Nitbal Singh, Constable Anand Mal and Manoj Sipahi.
He said that the injured CRPF men were shifted to SKIMS Soura for treatment, adding that the area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Ganderbal, Khalil Poswal said the grenade was lobbed at forces in the area in which three personnel have suffered minor injuries.
He added that the area has been cordoned off and investigation has been started to ascertain who is involved in the attack
