Preparedness for launch of AB-PMJAY SEHAT scheme reviewed at Kupwara

Kupwara: The District Development Commissioner (DDC), Kupwara, Anshul Garg Wednesday convened a meeting here to review the preparedness for successful conduct of launch of Ayusman Bharat PMJAY SEHAT scheme at district, sub division and block level on December 26.
The meeting discussed threadbare various issues regarding arrangements and participation of beneficiaries on the occasion.
The DDC directed the Chief Medical Officer Kupwara to ensure timely availability of banners, hoardings, pamphlets and other required material, besides he also took stock of other arrangements including seating arrangements and preparation of invitation cards.
He said all the functions to be held in the district shall be chaired by public representatives including newly elected DDCs, all Municipal Councilors and BDC Chairpersons besides concerned officers including Tehsildars and BDOs shall also be present in their respective blocks.
The DDC asked CMO and BMOs to arrange TV Sets at each function venue to facilitate the live streaming of 30 minute telecast of the Prime Minister and other dignitaries on the occasion of launch of Ayusman Bharat.
He said there is a vast need of awareness regarding the benefits of the scheme under which every family, irrespective of its income and standard, are being covered with Rs 5 Lakh insurance Cover.
The DDC directed the District Informatics Officer to facilitate the direct live telecast of the PM on the scheduled date and time.
Earlier, CMO briefed the DDC about the activities being carried out in the district with regard to launch of the scheme. She informed that 30 Banners, 4 hoardings and hundreds of pamphlets are being arranged for the purpose.
Among others, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Kupwara, Nazir Ahmad Lone, CMO, BMOs, Health officers, District Information Officer, District Informatics officer and other concerned were present in the meeting.
