Srinagar/Dec.24: Apni Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari on Thursday congratulated the Party workers of Amirakadal constituency for their efforts and performance which resulted in Party’s success in Municipal by-elections concluded recently. The Party had convened a meeting of its prominent workers from Amirakadal constituency at Party office in Lal Chowk to honour Mohammad Ashraf Dar for his win in the municipal elections from Ward-Rawalpora.
Felicitating Mohammad Ashraf Dar, the Apni Party President thanked the people of Amirakadal especially Rawalpora ward for their continued faith in the democratic process and called upon Mr. Dar to fulfill the promises made to the people and serve them with honesty and dedication. He exhorted on the Party cadre to devote themselves to the public welfare and do their best to mitigate their sufferings without any considerations.Bukhari emphasized on the Apni Party workers to maintain enthusiasm and energy shown in the recently concluded elections so as to face any challenge in coming days. “I understand that our political adversaries are propagating lies and canards and are trying to scuttle our efforts to expose their reality. But let me assure you that it is ultimately the truth that prevails upon the falsehood,” Bukhari observed, while complimenting the Party’s victorious candidates. He said that the massive participation in the recently concluded DDC/Panchayat and Municipal by-polls is an indication that people of Jammu and Kashmir have a deep urge and commitment for democratic processes.
“Our victorious candidates have shown that people have realized the difference and they believe in a practicable agenda. I express gratitude to the people of J&K for reposing their trust in the Apni Party by ensuring the victory of its candidates in DDC, Panchayat and municipal elections besides giving us a significant vote share,” Bukhari remarked.He said the Apni Party has dedicated itself for the socio-economic and political empowerment of people and it will not leave any stone unturned for achieving this goal. Besides Bukhari, the felicitation meeting was also attended by Party Senior Vice President Ghulam Hassan Mir, General Secretary Rafi Ahmad Mir and others.
