Srinagar: The Crime Branch Kashmir on Tuesday registered a case under FIR number 46/2020 under section 420,409,120-B RPC r/w 5(2) PC Act related to procurement of plant material in Block Aloosa Bandipora.
After conducting a preliminary verification into a written complaint received from Rural Development Department J&K, Prima facie indicates that procurement of plants has been done without inviting tender and subsequent distribution into the selected villages by the then BDO and other officials, which clearly shows involvement of Block Development Officer Syed Shabir Rizvi, MPWs Mohammad Amin Shah and Ghulam Mohidin Sheikh, CB Kashmir said in a statement issued on Tuesday.
Furthermore, the statement said that the supply orders were issued to particular suppliers for extraneous considerations, adding that the investigation of the case have been set in motion accordingly
