GCOE, Jammu organizes placement cell activity on “equipping for emerging job avenues”

Jammu: Government College of Education, Jammu, organized a placement cell activity focusing on “Equipping for Emerging Job avenues” using Google Meet platform for the student community.
CCO, Directorate of Employment, Jammu, Mamta Sharma, delivered the guest lecture followed by a brain storming address by Nodal Officer for Career Counseling in Higher Education Department, Professor Ambika Sharma.
The lectures were very informative which enlightened the students about various career opportunities available in the job sector besides motivating them towards developing technical knowledge and soft skills in terms of career planning and goal setting.
Principal GCOE, Jammu, Dr Kulvinder Kaur, congratulated the placement cell for organizing this programme with optimism that more such programs would take place in future as well.
Advisory Committee of Placement Cell comprising Dr. Neelam Dhar and Dr. Maansi Sharma besides Professor Rubina, Professor Deep Bangotra, Professor Shalini Rana and Dr. Mandeep Singh, members of Placement Cell, attended the programme.
Convener, Placement Cell, Professor Harmanmeet Kaur, co-ordinated the program while Professor Shapia Shameem presented vote of thanks.
