Srinagar Dy Mayor visits animal carcass burial ground Galandar, SMC land at Nowgam Bypass,  New By-pass Live Stock checking post SMC, to take stock of their functions.

Srinagar/Dec,22 : Deputy Mayor, Srinagar Parvaiz Ahmad Qadri, accompanied with Executive Engineer (RRWD), SMC Compost Officer, SMC Estates Officer, SMC and other Officers of the Corporation on Tuesday visited Animal Carcass burial ground Galandar, SMC land at Nowgam Bypass, and New By-pass Live Stock checking post SMC, to take stock of their functions.
During his Visit to the Animal Carcass burial ground Galandar , Deputy Mayor directed the concerned officers to use modern scientific methods for burial of dead animals /carcass and also directed Executive Engineer, Concerned to frame necessary estimate for earth filling and go for fencing around the said land at galandar.
At SMC land at by-pass , Qadri directed the concerned Officers to conduct a joint survey along with the Officials of revenue departments to demarcate the total actual land and also directed the staff of SMC deputed at live stock Checking post (New NHW Road) to properly monitor the live stock entering the Srinagar City.
