Poshan Abhiyan training reviewed at Kupwara

Kupwara: The District Administration Kupwara under the Chairmanship of Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC), Kupwara, Nazir Ahmad Lone who holds the Additional charge of District Programme Officer (DPO) Monday reviewed the progress of training under Poshan Abhiyan in the district.
During the meeting it was informed that the training for 06 Modules under Incremental Learning Approach (ILA) of Poshan Abhiyan has been received by the District Resource Group consisting of all Child Development Project Officers (CDPOs) and selected Supervisors.
Besides, it was also given out that the Block Resource Group, consisting of Supervisors have also been named for a similar training programme and that they will sensitise the Anganwadi workers for effective implementation of the Poshan Abhiyan on ground.
The meeting was further informed that the objective of ILA is to reduce infant mortality, malnourishment and stunting rate, besides, motivating pregnant ladies for institutional deliveries.
The ADC, on the occasion directed the concerned to work with added zeal for holistic and effective implementation of the Poshan Abhiyan in the district.
Among others, Child Development Project Officer Kupwara, G.N. Sheikh and Supervisors attended the meeting.
