Awanntipora: Police on Monday held an awareness program on ills of drug abuse on the society, besides organising a drug de-addiction rally in Pampore area of Awantipora police district.
A statement issued by police on Monday said “SDPO Pampore and SHO Pampore held a detailed interaction with the respectables and students of Pampore at Police Station Pampore”, adding that “after the interaction, a rally was organized by Police to generate awareness against drug abuse and its ill effects on the society. The rally, according to the police statement, was led by SDPO Pampore from Police Station Pampore to Kadlabal, Drangabal & Namabal.
