Bandipora/Dec,21: A 27 year old woman was found dead under mysterious circumstances in SK Payeen village in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Monday.
Reports said that a body was lying in her room, adding that the family after spotting the body in early morning immediately informed police.
Police later reached the spot and recovered the body in mysterious conditions. Police officials confirmed the incident and said that a case under various sections of law has been registered in police post Ajas and further investigation has been initiated.
According to the officials, the woman (name withheld), who was in her early twenties, hailed from Laharwalpora village of the district and had reportedly run into some dispute with her in-laws.
The officials said that the medico-legal formalities will be conducted and specimens sent to FSL for further investigation in this regard.
