Bandipora: An Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) trooper deployed on election duty suffered heart attack at Hakbara village of Hajin in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Saturday evening.
A police Officer told that an ITBP trooper identified as Ajay Kumar of 18 Bravo company suffered heart attack and fell unconscious when he was on the line of duty outside polling booth at High School Hakbara polling station in Hajin.
Soon after the incident, he was immediately shifted the Community Health Center Hajin for treatment where his condition is reported to be out of danger. Pertinenty, eighth and last phase of District Development Council (DDC) was held Saturday in Jammu and Kashmir and bandipora records 56.55 poll percentage.
