Srinagar:National Conference senior leader and Member Parliament Justice Hasnain Masoodi said that the case about bungling in the JKCA was registered on the directions of Dr Farooq Abdullah.
” He was one who called for through investigation in the misuse of funds around ten years ago. He wanted the case be investigated by law enforcement agencies not administrative enquiry,” he was quoted as saying by local news gathering agency KNS.
He added that none of the properties has been acquired in last fifteen years.
“He has not been benefitted anyone. When he was called for questioning recently, Farooq Abdullah clarified then also that he is being targeted for being vocal about the rights of people of Kashmiris and uniting the people for it.”
Blaming the BJP for targeting Farooq Abdullah for going against them, he said, “They were expecting we will remain away from DDC polls and would sweep polls here. we understood gameplan of BJP and participated in it. Despite all the problems created for campaigning, we emerged winner.”
He also said that the attached properties are ancestral properties and not acquired in last fifteen years.
“We will fight legally. This is baseless decesion and has no been taken in isolation. It won’t stand before the law of land,”
