Surankote: Advocate Aijaz Khan a top lawyer of Surankote area of Poonch district on Thursday threatened protests over non stop disruption in water supply in the area.
Addressing a presser at Surankote Khan accused PHE department of total negligence and urged the authorities either to immediately address the unresolved issues of water scarcity in main town Surakkote and the adjoining areas to the entire satisfaction of local populations or be prepared to face public protests to attract the attention of the top authorities of the PHE department. Among others who accompanied advocate Aijaz Khan at the presser include Liaqat Mirza, Zaheer Khawaja, Asif Khawaja, Ashu Bhat, Ishtiaq Ahmed, and several other senior citizens of Suankote area.
