Jammu: The Mahore Police has rejected the allegations of one person namely Bahar Din son of Noor Din resident of Bathoie (mob 8899663123) and said that the man is trying to mislead the people to hamper an investigation against him in FIR 87/2020,along with 02 others under sections 354-D ,465,471, 499 IPC, 66E, 67A.
The man, Police said, claims to be himself a media person and is seen in the video in conversation with Lalit Khajuria journalist leveling allegations on Mahore police is the prime accused in FIR 87/2020,along with 02 others under sections 354-D ,465,471, 499 IPC, 66E, 67A IT Act and is presently on bail.
FIR was registered on the basis of a written complaint submitted by complainant (name withheld) and copy of the complaint is available with us .
The Police said that the allegations levelled in this video are totally baseless and just to mislead and hamper the investigation of the instant case.
Police further stated that the said person Bahar Din is a drug addict and a drug peddler also and it is highly possible that he was under the influence of drugs when he was addressing the press in order to gain sympathy from the general public and hide his misdeeds.
There is a proper platform to address such grievances if any and as far as illegal mining issue is concerned, the DMO is available to speak on this issue and matter can also be taken up with DDC Reasi for action in this matter and going to press is testimony of his being defiant .
Other allegations levelled are totally baseless and contemptible and appropriate action shall be taken accordingly.
JK Police being a highly disciplined organisation does not ascribe to these acts of in-discipline.
