Jammu: The Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Tuesday producea charge sheet against Ex Patwari Halqa Rajal Nowshera and Rajouri along with Sudarshan Kumar the beneficiary in the llegal mutation of land case.
A statement issued by Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Tuesday said it presented a charge sheet in case FIR No. 04/2017 U/s 5 (1) (d) r/w 5 (2) J&K PC Act 2006 and Section 120-B RPC P/S VOJ (now ACB) against Vipan Kumar, the then Patwari Halqa Rajal, Nowshera S/o Late Chuni Lal R/o H.No: 29, Janipur, Jammu, Lal Man (now expired), the then Naib Tehsildar, Agrarian Reforms, Rajal S/o Kahan Singh R/o Village Bera Mehrote, Tatapani, Kalakote and beneficiary namely Sudershan Kumar S/o Late Amar Nath Lakhanpal R/o Colonel Colony, Satwari, Jammu A/P H.No. D-601, Orchid Enclave, Chandibali, Mumbai in the Court of Addl. Special Judge Anti-Corruption, Rajouri.
The ACB in it’s statement further said the accused person namely Sudershan Kumar S/o Late Amar Nath Lakhanpal R/o Colonel Colony, Satwari, Jammu A/P H.No. D-601, Orchid Enclave, Chandibali, Mumbai managed the allotment/mutation No. 187 dated 17.05.1982 for land measuring 48 kanal and 04 marlas situated at village Rajal, Nowshera, District Rajouri in connivance with revenue officials and caused huge loss to the Govt. by acquiring the above mentioned allotment of Govt. land by illegal means through accused revenue officials and thereby sold out the said land for his monetary benefits.
The ACB in it’s statement further said the revenue officials namely Vipan Kumar, the then Patwari Halqa Rajal, Nowshera and Lal Man (now expired), the then Naib Tehsildar, Agrarian Reforms, Rajal entered/recorded and attested the mutation No. 187 dated 17.05.1982 for land measuring 48 kanal and 04 marlas situated at village Rajal, Nowshera, District Rajouri in favour of accused beneficiary Sudershan Kumar S/o Late Amar Nath Lakhanpal without lawful justification and entitlement in blatant abuse of power and committed offences mentioned above.
Stating that the Anti-Corruption Bureau Jammu after thorough investigation submitted the charge sheet of the case as envisaged U/S 173 Cr.PC against the above said accused persons in the Court of Addl. Special Judge Anti-Corruption, Rajouri on 15.12.2020 for judicial determination, the ACB in it’s statement said “next date of hearing has been fixed on January 28 next year”.
