Kulgam: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Kulgam, Showkat Aijaz Bhat, Monday convened a meeting here to review public delivery mechanism in the district.
The DDC said public deliverance mechanism must be strengthened as core part of transparent and accountable administration which accords centrality to the needs and problems of people.
He exhorted upon all the district heads of various departments involved in public service delivery like enrolment and updation of Aadhar, water and power supply, maintenance of roads to gear up men and machinery so that public do not have to suffer during this cold season.
During the meeting, Chief Planning Officer, Assistant Road Transport Officer, Executive Engineers of PDD, PHE and PWD, DFO Kulgam, Tehsildar Kulgam besides officers from education department were present.
