Cultural extravaganza 2020 prog organised by Kashmir Environmental & Social Organization in Bandipora

Bandipora: Kashmir Environmental and Social Organization Bandipora working for the Popularization of Science,Culture and Sports organized a cultural programme “Cultural Extravaganza 2020” today at Army GoodWill School Bandipora with an aim to raise awareness regarding the women empowerment. Deputy Commissioner Bandipora Dr. Owais Ahmad was the Chief guest on the occasion, Commanding Officer 14 RR Pranav Joshi, Major Rohit Nayar, Masood Rana a top Bollywood Singer, Falak Yousuf, Ulfat Haroon, Syed Shuja, Miss Shabnum Principal AGS were other dignitaries who graced the occasion.
Various Singers, Artists, Dancers etc participated in the cultural programme.Various artists performed a skit, sung various hindi songs and Special Patriotic Song was sung by Masood Rana. Speaking on the occasion, commanding Officer said that the cultural events play an important role in highlighting the social issues and creating awareness among people regarding them.He appreciated the Organizers for organizing such a programme.
The other speakers also highlighted the need to engage actively in the efforts to eradicate drug menace and motivate youth to participate in such programmes.

On the occasion,a skit was presented to bring the attention of participants towards the serious issue of women empowerment.

At the end of the cultural programme, Deputy Commissioner Bandipora Dr. Owais Ahmad distributed awards and certificates among various participants. He also thanked the artists and the people who joined and made the programme successful.
The General Secretary of Organization while presenting vote of thanks highlighted the essence of such programmes. He said by such programmes a message can be disseminated to empower the women. He also informed the audience that such programmes which provide a platform to the youngesters will continue its efforts to explore the talent of local youth. Later on the top dignitaries were felicitated with special mementos and awards.
