Jammu : Police has announced restart of physical education test (PET) and physical standard test (PST) for those candidates of Samba and Jammu who had applied for the post of constables in two border battalions .
A police statement issued on Thursday said “for the information of all those remaining candidates of District Jammu and Samba who have applied for the post of constable in 02 Border Battalions in J&K Police that their Physical Endurance Test/Physical Standard Test (PET/PST) which was postponed in the month of March-2020 due to outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic is being re-started from December 24 at UTDRF Ground (venue already earmarked for the event) adjacent to Gulshan Ground Jammu”.
The Candidates, according to the statement, have been asked to download their fresh admit cards and undertaking/no risk certificate which should be duly signed by the candidates and counter signed by parent/guardian before their participation in the event. All the candidates have been also asked to keep in their possession a COVID free certificate and ensure that the COVID test must have been conducted within last 48 hours. The Admit Cards and undertaking/no risk certificate will be made available to the aspiring candidates’ w.e.f December 17 on the official web site of J&K Police i.e. www.jkpolice.gov.in.
