Nowgam Birgade organizes 5 Day, first aid training workshop

Handwara: A Five day First Aid Training workshop under Aarogya Sevika was on Thursday organized by Nowgam Biergade to create awareness among general masses about first aid emergency.
The first Aid training camp was organised at vocational training centre Nowgam in the interest of the general public living in the remote area of Nowgam and in service to the health of the people of Naugam. A training session for the ladies in the basic first aid, was the main attraction of the camp conducted under Aarogya Sevika.
The programme commenced from Thursday and is to be continued for 5 days under the leadership of Dr. Parvaiza Mir. A total of 6 ladies from 6 villages of Mawer Valley attended the classes. At the conclusion, the ladies will be given comprehensive basic first aid kits for aiding in their endeavors to serve the ones in need in case of emergency or as part of first response.
