Kishtwar: District Development Commissioner, Kishtwar, Ashok Sharma Thursday flagged off a group of 10 students for snow skiing courses to be organised at Gulmarg by Department of Youth Services and Sports under the Guidance of Director General Youth Services & Sports, Dr Saleem -ur-Rahman.
Students for different skiing courses have been selected from different zones of Kishtwar, informed DYSSO Kishtwar, Kharati Lal Sharma.
While interacting with the students, the DDC asked them to take all precautionary measures of covid-19 pandemic during their course and learn the skiing with dedication to achieve excellence in sports.
He also complemented the Sports department Kishtwar for organizing the event.
The DDC further asked DYSSO Kishtwar to ensure proper boarding and lodging arrangements for the students during travel and stay at Gulmarg.
