‘Security forces being used to rig elections to favour a particular political party in DDC elections’, Says Mehbooba

Srinagar/Dec,10: PDP President and former Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti on Thursday hit out at the government over the conduct of DDC elections in Jammu and Kashmir saying that government forces are being used to rig the ongoing DDC elections to favour a particular political party. She also accused the BJP presently commanding and controlling the central government of having designs to change the religious composition in only Muslim majority state of the country.
Taking to micro blogging social networking site twitter Mehbooba wrote “Security forces have cordoned Matribugh in Shopian & are not allowing people to come out to vote under the pretext of inputs about presence of militants. In a brazen display of power, armed forces are being used to rig this election & favour a particular party”
Accusing the BJP commanding and controlling the central government of having designs to change the religious composition of the only Muslim majority state of the county as she is yet another tweet wrote “For the BJP, J&K is not a political but a religious problem that can only be solved by changing the religious composition, by ensuring Muslims become a minority in the only Muslim-majority state.”
