Bandipora: DC Bandipora Dr Owais Ahmad on Tuesday chaired a meeting of officers to review the completion of pending works and the shifting of the Hospital to the new complex.
The meeting was attended by Additional District Development Commissioner Afsar Ali Khan, Additional Deputy Commissioner Zahoor Ahmad Mir, Assistant Commiss8ioner Revenue (ACR) Reyaz Ahmad Beigh, Joint Director Planning Imtiyaz Ahmad, Chief Medical Officer Dr Bashir Ahmad, Officers of JK Housing Board and other senior officers of the district.
It was given out that the hospital has been made partially functional and the shifting process is going on.
On the occasion DC Bandipora took stock of various ongoing works of the complex including installation of lifts, and other left out works being carried out. He urged the executing agency to complete the pending works as soon as possible so that the hospital is made fully functional for the general public.
DC Bandipora asked the JK Housing Board to ensure that all basic facilities are made available in the hospital so that the healthcare system is not affected. He also asked Joint Director Planning Imtiyaz Ahmad to inspect the Hospital complex to personally assess the facilities available in the hospital and inspect the ongoing works.
He said the purpose of making the hospital partially operational is to allow the rest of the technical works to take place under the strict technical supervision of the medical fraternity including the installation of machinery, oxygen supply and other medical equipment.
