Srinagar: National Conference on Friday said that proponents of BJP, RSS agenda in Kashmir stand exposed after they started to normalize the measures committed by New Delhi unilaterally and unconstitutionally, saying the plaint stooges, serial turncoats and opportunists will meet their end as was met by their prototypes post 1953.
The plaint stooges of BJP are in a gambit of normalizing the spiteful measures committed by ruling BJP at Center, said Party Spokesperson Imran Nabi Dar while criticizing the Machiavellian brand of politics played by Apni Party. “The party headed by Bhukhari has no agenda; the only endeavor of this throng of strange bedfellows is to normalize the constitutional coup that was orchestrated by their masters on 5th of August. Ever since he has surfaced on the political scene of Kashmir with a spectacle of the Apni Party, we have only been hearing that they will fight for the rights of people. It has been a year since the odd group has surfaced and so far they have done nothing,” he said.
“Serving sermons to NC is comical as it was Bukhari who has a history of working against the interests of people of J&K. In the illegal dismissal of Farooq Abdullah led government in 1984, Bukhari played a vital part. He is the same person who was promoted by PDP to a cabinet rank but ditched the party and went ahead to dismember it,” Imran said.
Soon after the state was dismembered, downgraded and shorn of its constitutional status, Bhukhari was the first person to knock the doors of RSS, and BJP, Imran said adding, “At a time when the people of Kashmir were reeling under unprecedented clampdown trying to come terms with what had been done to them, it was Bukhari who hunkered before its masters in Nagpur toeing the line of RSS, BJP and asking the people to accept the abrogation of Articles 370,35-A as a new reality. No gimmickry or passing the blame can help Bhukhari absolve himself from the mischief he has been upto post August 5, 2019,” he said.
