Kupwara: The polling parties along with poll material for conducting DDC and Panchayat by-election in 02 constituencies, viz. Hayhama and Qaziabad have been dispatched Thursday. The concerned ROs and Nodal officers were supervising the job.
Meanwhile, a joint meeting of Zonal & Sectoral Magistrates and Zonal & Sectoral Police officers, appointed for phase 3rd of DDC and Panchayat by-election in Kupwara district, was Thursday held here under the chairmanship of concerned Nodal Officer. He urged upon the magistrates and officers to coordinate with each other and reach their polling stations on time and also ensure that polling starts at 7AM and closes at 02 PM.
