G’bal: The polling under Phase-3rd for 3 DDC constituencies, 7 vacant seats of Sarpanch and 28 Panch seats of block Ganderbal will be conducted on December 04, 2020 from 7 AM to 2 PM for which adequate arrangements have been put in place by the district administration to ensure free and fair elections in the district.
There are 59 candidates in fray which include 34 for DDC, 17 for Sarpanch and 8 for Panch seats in block Ganderbal for which 188 polling stations have been established at 51 locations for 34868 electorates of the block.
The concerned nodal officers and polling staff have been asked to follow all the SOPs and guidelines related to COVID-19 during polling.
Meanwhile, district panchayat election officer (DPEO) has appealed to the general public of the district to participate in the election process for strengthening the roots of democracy.
