Jammu: A meeting of National Conference workers and supporters was on Tuesday held at Mareen Tehsil Hiranagar District Kathua under the leadership of Th. Kashmira Singh Ex- MLC and Incharge Kathua District Election Campaign .Addressing the workers he lambasted the BJP for its anti people policies saying that the BJP Govt has changed the state subject laws and later on domicile laws were also withdrawn arbitrarily without any genuine reasons. He alleged that land owned by Jammu people will be occupied by the lakhs of outsiders from the rest of India and same will be the case with the job seekers . Calling D.D.C election an opportunity to show resentment against the BJP and programmes of the Central Govt, Kashmir Singh appealed the elected members of panchayats in Kathua district to cast their vote in favour of National Conference candidate Dharampal Kundal to ensure his victory in the DDC election claiming therein that “this is the only democratic way to show resentment against the Govt”.
