Srinagar: Srinagar Municipal Corporation on Monday conducted demolitions of illegal constructions that were going on in Parray Pora in uptown Srinagar.
In a statement the Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC) said that it’s enforcement wing along with concerned enforcement officer and ward officer under the supervision of Chief Enforcement Officer went to the sites where illegal constructions were going on. Stating that all the three illegal structures one coming up at Hyderpora and two structures at Parraypora were pulled down and accordingly the entire exercise was monitored by Authorities, the SMC in it’s statement further said that a tight vigil is being kept on constructional activities and the structures that are found to be constructed without building permission or getting deviated from the approved building plan will face the similar action.
Reiterating that citizens have repeatedly been requested to apply for proper building permissions from Competent Authority and not to construct any structure without permission, the SMC in it’s statement further said ‘demolition drives will continue against the unauthorized constructions to ensure that no construction without permission is allowed to take place’.
