Shopian: District Panchayat Election Officer (DPEO) Shopian, Choudhary Mohammad Yasin, Monday dispatched 36 polling parties to Ramnagri and Kanjiullar constituencies that are going to polls under phase-II of the District Development Council elections and Panchayat by-polls.
He informed that an adequate number of security personnel have been deployed along with polling parties for smooth conduct of elections.
The DPEO appealed to the general public of the district to actively participate in the election process and make it a grand success for strengthening grass root level democracy.
