JKIFTS organises webinar for its writers council, Abrar Ul Mustafa delivers lecture

Jammu: Jammu and Kashmir Innovative Foundation For Transforming Society(JKIFTS) lead by Dr. Tasaduk Hussain Itoo on Saturday organized a webinar for JKIFTS council of writers and columnists. The one hour webinar was hosted by Abrar Ul Mustafa, one of the core Council Board members for JKIFTS writers council.
During the webinar, Abrar Ul Mustafa delivered a lecture on topic “Writing an Anthology and its importance”. He highlighted the role of writing an anthology and put thorough emphasis on its benefits and guidelines for its writing. Pertinent to mention, JKIFTS is going to publish an anthology on “Covid Experiences” based on the experiences during Covid-19 pandemic. While speaking on the occasion, Council Head, Mushtaque B Barq enlightened the writers about the pro forma of the book and stressed on the originality of the write-ups that it shall contain – entirely based on the personal experiences of the author during the Covid-19 pandemic. “The write-ups selection for the book shall be done after thorough series of review process by JKIFTS Editorial Board and Authors Press Publisher. The word limit of the write-ups should be in between 2000 to 5000 words for members of JKIFTS writers council. The deadline for submission of write-ups is 05 December, 2020 and shall be submitted to official email I’d of JKIFTS ([email protected]) along with bio data and one passport size photograph of the author” informed Abrar Ul Mustafa while concluding the session. The webinar was attended by various members of JKIFTS writers council including Director JKIFTS.
