Electric Divn Parade launches drive for recovery of pending power bills

Jammu: A drive for Revenue realization of electric Bills and mass disconnection of defaulting electrical connection has been launched in the areas falling under the jurisdiction of Electric Division-1 Parade.

A team comprising Ratneesh Puri, AEE Electric Sub-Div-I, along with  Rakesh Sharma AE, Rajat JE, Varinder Gupta JE, Mukesh Sharma JE and Ravinder Singh JE and subordinates staff visited different areas under their area of jurisdiction and disconnected defaulting connections in areas like Moti Bazar, Khatikan Talab, Gujjar Nagar, Residency Road and Shalamar Road area.

Similarly, Divya Jandial AEE Electric Sub Div-Il along with JEs and field staff disconnected defaulting electrical connection in her area of jurisdiction.

Also S. Harvinder Singh AEE Electric Sub-Div-Ill and his team of JEs and subordinating staff initiated the same drive in Panjthirthi, New Plot, Janipur and Sidhra areas.  Javed Ahmed AEE Electric Sub-Div-IV along with his team visited many areas like Nagrota, Kattal Battal, Dansal etc. and appealed the people to deposit their electrical connection dues to avoid disconnections and disconnected many connections having huge arrears.

This whole drive of mass disconnections and revenue realization was taken up under the supervision of Superintending Engineer, O&M Circle-I, (JPDCL) Panama Chowk, Jammu and Executive Engineer, Electric Division-I, (JPDCL) Parade, Jammu.
