PDF’s Javed Beigh reiterates commitment to dev of Budgam distt, fight against communalists

Srinagar: Javed Ahmed Beigh, the DDC candidate of Hakim Yasin led Peoples’s Democratic Front (PDF) from Beerwa area of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Wednesday said that he and his party, the PDF is fighting the upcoming DDC elections, with the twin goals of bringing development central Kashmir’s Budgam district and keep communal forces at bay.
Welcoming Senior Political activist and Ex Sarpanch of Chewdara Rathsun Khursheed Ahmad Sheikh into party fold , Beigh expressed happiness and satisfaction over the joining of Khursheed Ahmad Sheikh a well known political activist and renowned businessman of the area into his party the PDF.
Javed Beigh filed nomination papers of Khursheed Ahmad Sheikh for DDC Rathsun with the direction of Party Patron Hakeem Mohammad Yaseen during his tour to Beerwah and Rathsun block from where Javed Ahmed Beigh and Khursheed Ahmad Sheikh are contesting DDC elections respectively. He interacted with the local community members and members of media fraternity and asserted that he and his party, the PDF has a special focus on welfare of the people of Central Kashmir, especially Budgam district, which unfortunately remains one of the economically backward regions of Kashmir Valley. He asserted that his party’s aim is not only to bring sustainable development to Budgam but also to keep communal forces and their proxies at bay. He reiterated that his party is committed for the restoration of the statehood of J&K and article 370 of the constitution of India. He expressed happiness over the response of local people to his and his party’s DDC election campaign and said that he is fully confident that people of Beerwah and other parts of Budgam will extend their support to him and PDF to open new doors for development in entire Budgam district.
