Baramulla Police distributes essential items, COVID-19 safety kits among poor and needy families

Baramulla: Continuing its efforts to reach out to the needy people, Baramulla police distributed necessary items, COVID-19 safety kits to the poor and needy families in Baramulla, Police said in a statement on Wednesday.
The distribution function was, according to the above referred statement, held by SSP Baramulla Ab. Qayoom-JKPS at DPL Baramulla who was accompanied by Dy SP DAR Baramulla and other senior officers. “SSP Baramulla distributed COVID-19 kits comprising of face shield, N-95 masks, ordinary masks, oximeter, digital thermometer, sanitizer bottles, hand gloves Dettol soaps and other essential items among the poor and needy families falling under the jurisdiction of Police Station Baramulla and Sheeri” , said the statement.
Speaking on the occasion, SSP Baramulla said that there is a need for sensitising the society of its responsibilities towards COVID-19 particularly the needy and poor families. He added that police is always there for any help for the poor and needy people and this process will remain continue in all the sub-Divisions of District Baramulla.
