General observer to remain available for public at Shopian

Shopian: the General Observer, for Municipal Council Shopian Vivek Puri, shall oversee the election process for smooth, free and fair elections.
He shall remain available for the general public on all the working days from 12 noon to 4pm at Mini Secretariat, Shopian.
The people of the district are hereby informed that in case of any complaints or queries regarding ULB elections 2020, they can also contact the General Observer on cell number 9419150193.
Meanwhile, in another meeting, Nodal Officer Expenditure Monitoring Cell Shopian, Omar Javid discussed various matters related to the upcoming elections with DDC contesting candidates of Shopian.
The DDC contesting candidates were asked that the total of the said expenditure should not exceed the prescribed amount. They were also directed to keep a separate and correct account of all expenditure in connection with the election.
Nodal Officer Expenditure Monitoring Cell emphasized on strict adherence to the Model Code of Conduct and other Election Commission of India (ECI) guidelines for ensuing elections.
