Shopian: The election related training was Friday imparted to the polling staff (POs /P1 and P2) under the supervision of Nodal Officer Training, Dr. Mohammad Amin here at DIET-1 and DIET-2, Mini Secretariat Shopian.
During the training, the master trainers acquainted the polling staff with the rules and regulations of the election process and implementation of Model Code of Conduct (MCC).
The Polling Officers were briefed about their duties and functions especially to ensure free, fair and smooth conduct of by-election (Panchayat) in the district.
The training session was attended by Polling Officers and other polling staff besides other concerned officers and officials.
