Strong rooms, counting centers notified in Kupwara

Kupwara : According to District Election Officer Kupwara, 04 strong room locations have been identified in Kupwara district for safe upkeep of ballot boxes for 14 District Development Council (DDC) constituencies.
As per the circular order issued Wednesday, ITI Kupwara has been notified as a strong room for Kralpora, Reddi Chowkibal, Hayhama, Drugmulla and Qadirabad DDC constituencies. While, JNV Potushai has been notified as a strong room for DDC constituency Kalaroos, Wavoora and Sogam.
Similarly, ITI Handwara has also been notified as a strong room for Qaziabad, Mawer (Qalamabad), Rajwar, Nutnussa and Ramhaal DDC constituencies. Mini Secretariat Tangdar has been identified as a strong room for border DDC constituency Tangdar.
The Circular further reads that the information regarding strong rooms/ counting centers are being notified for information of the general public especially political parties and contesting candidates
